Special Events:

Family participation and camaraderie are developed at two annual dinners.  In January we hold the Installation Dinner where the newly elected slate of officers is announced and feted.  Later in the year, we enjoy the Fall BBQ.  The Club provides the main course and beverages, and the side dishes and salads are provided by the members and their spouses.

Fall BBQ:
The 2002 Fall BBQ will be held Saturday, October 26th at the Livermore/Pleasanton Rod and Gun Club (directions). 

The Club will provide meat, beverages, and napkins.  Please bring sign up to bring a side dish or dessert and your own plates and flatware.  Sign up at Club meeting.

Installation Dinner:
The Annual Installation Dinner will be held January 25th from 5:30-8:30 PM at Beeb's Sport Bar and Grill.  Details are included in the October issue of The Barbless Hook newsletter.  Contact Joe Ruth for more information.

Pleasanton ISE Show:
Thursday Feb. 13 - Sunday Feb. 16

Once again our club will be part of the Pleasanton Sport Show.  We will be sharing a booth with several other local fly fishing club.  Volunteers are needed to help with booth duty, handing out club flyers an d answering questions regarding the LFF.

 Since we are getting our booth at No-Charge, the show sponsor has asked that we do some demonstration at the casting ponds for 15 to 20 minutes and fly tying at our booth.  We'll also need volunteers for these things.
