Event Description: This trip is scheduled as a non Club sanctioned "Tag-Along" trip.  For more information contact Rob Farris for details.

This is a three day trip to the local lakes at Milton (near Truckee) and Heenan Lake (near Markleeville) for large Fall browns and Lahontan trout. Camping will  likely be at Webber lake as all un-developed camping is now prohibited in the National Forests (eliminating Milton as a site) due to the high fire danger precautions.

Both lakes do have limited shore access but are best approached with a watercraft.  No motors are allowed on either lake.

Fishmeister:  Rob Farris, RFFarris@comcast.net. (925)286-5502.  Please call if you wish to attend so we can expect and plan for you.

Accommodations and Food:

Campsite Reservations: Campsites at Webber and Turtle Rock in Markleeville are first come first served for on site reservations.

Each individual is responsible for their own food.

Gear and Tackle Recommendations:

Rod & line weights/types: 4, 5 or 6 weight rods, reels with floating and sinking lines

Leaders and tippet: Fishing style dependent .

Other gear: SA suitable watercraft without motor.

Flies: Flies to match hatches(minimal at this time) so most fishing will be with indicators, nymphs, and streamers.
