July Meeting - Streamers Clinic

 Streamers : Upping Your Game for Bigger Fish 

Our July 9th meeting will focus on the leading category of interest in our recent survey. We will conduct the meeting as a “clinic”, as we did in last year’s well received meeting. We will be using three comprehensive videos to help foster discussion on How to Effectively Fish Streamers. Ever want to know how to fish that “Sex Dungeon” (above) of Kelly Galloup’s?

This “clinic” will encompass discussion on streamer fishing from basic setups for beginners to much more advanced techniques as the evening progresses for both lake and stream fishing, with input from our Club members as well. We will be using videos on getting started from FarBank/Rio’s Simon Gawesworth on setup, types, retrieves, effective water, etc.; advancing to TroutBitten’s Dominick Swentosky on the “jerk-strip” technique; and finally, a unique approach from Red’s Fly Shop on using jig streamers.

There should be valuable information for everyone from the beginner to the advanced streamer junkie. Rob will moderate the presentations with plenty of time for input and discussions in this lively session.

All of our normal Club activities will also be on tap with light refreshments, local fishing reports, committee updates, our customary raffle, and something new that will be available on our website Company Store. Don’t miss what should be an engaging evening on the 9th.
